School Social Worker
Ms. Kaiser is the school Social Worker at Oakdale Elementary.
- School Social Workers help to create a safe, caring, and inclusive school environment for all students.
- Social Workers are a part of an attendance team that keeps track of absences. Additionally, they will reach out to parents for meetings in regards to attendance and help to create a plan of action.
- Social Workers see students for therapy whether that is formally (as directed on an Individual Education Plan/ IEP) or informally.
- Social Workers serve as liaisons between schools and parents and help with any assistance in obtaining resources outside of the school.
